The office of the Building Official is primarily responsible for administration of the following ordinances and codes.

• Zoning Ordinance
• Building Code Ordinance
• Electrical Code Ordinance
• Plumbing Code Ordinance
• Floodplain Ordinance

Additional functions assigned to the office of the Building Official include:

• Managing the mosquito abatement program
• Assisting the Fire Department with fire inspections
