TO POLICE AND FIRE APPLICANTS:

Thank you for your interest in employment with the City of Effingham’s Police and Fire Departments. We are now accepting applications for Police testing. Testing for Police will be conducted on June 28, 2008. Testing for Fire has closed and will not open until fall of 2009.


You will find the link to the Application below. Please, submit the completed application to indicate your interest to test. Once a testing date has been set, additional paperwork will be sent to you for completion. At that time, a non-refundable testing fee of $20 must be submitted by all candidates.

Also linked below is a Reimbursement Agreement for Hiring and Training Expenses. This form does not need to be completed and returned at this time, however, the receipt that you received this agreement needs to be send back with your application.
