Effingham Invites Residents on a Trip to Area Sports Centers

The City of Effingham invites residents and interested parties on a road trip to get a first-hand look at two sports centers that are similar to the proposed Effingham Community Sports and Recreation Center. Visits will be made to facilities in Centralia and Highland, where participants will have the opportunity to hear from sports professionals who manage these facilities.

A charter bus will leave from City Hall at 8 a.m. Friday, January 11, and return around 4 p.m. that afternoon.  The trip is FREE, and lunch will be provided.
