Notice of Public Hearing for Zoning Ordinance Text Amendment
Accessory Building Size, Height, Location and Setbacks – Articles 4 thru 12, 14, 17, 19 and 22
Notice is hereby given the Plan Commission of the City of Effingham, Illinois, will hold a public hearing on January 13, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, 1st Floor, City Hall, located at 201 East Jefferson Avenue, in the City of Effingham, Illinois, at which time and place all interested persons may participate in the Public Hearing by presenting testimony for or against and ask questions on a Text Amendment to ARTICLES 4 thru 12, 14, 17, 19 and 22 of Appendix B (Zoning Ordinance No. 44-89) of the City of Effingham Municipal Code to revise regulations and requirements on the size, height, location and setbacks for Accessory Buildings. The Text Amendment is posted at City Hall located at 201 E. Jefferson Avenue and is available on the City of Effingham website at: http://www.effinghamil.com/meetings
