Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of Effingham, Illinois, will hold a public hearing on March 26, 2024 at 6:00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, 1st Floor, City Hall, located at 201 East Jefferson Avenue, Effingham, Illinois, at which time and place all interested parties may participate in the Public Hearing by presenting testimony and concerns, and ask questions on a petition requesting a Variance to allow 2176 square feet of accessory building (576 existing, 1600 proposed) which exceeds the allowable maximum area of 1,200 square feet in a R-1 Single-Family Residence District per Article 5.3.(I) in Appendix B of the City of Effingham Municipal Code (Zoning Ordinance No. 44-89)
