Front and rear-yard setback variance
Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of Effingham, Illinois, will hold a public hearing on the 25th day of June, 2024 at 6:00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, 1st Floor, City Hall, located at 201 East Jefferson Avenue, Effingham, Illinois, at which time and place all interested parties may participate in the Public Hearing by presenting testimony and questions on a petition requesting a Variance to reduce setbacks in a R-3D Multiple-Dwelling District per Articles 10-4 and 22 in Appendix B of the City of Effingham Municipal Code (Zoning Ordinance No. 44-89), said Variances are:
Reduce the front yard setback along Fayette Avenue (US 40) from 25 feet to 0 feet
Reduce the rear yard setback along CSX Railroad from 25 feet to 0 feet
