Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of Effingham, Illinois, will hold a public hearing on the 25th day of June, 2024 at 6:00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, 1st Floor, City Hall, located at 201 East Jefferson Avenue, Effingham, Illinois, at which time and place all interested parties may participate in the Public Hearing by presenting testimony and questions on a petition requesting a Variance to reduce the setback of 20 feet from the curbline to 17 feet from the curbline for a sign that does not have eight feet of clearance between the base of the sign and the ground in a B-1 Neighborhood Shopping District per Article 24-7.A.(1)(a) in Appendix B of the City of Effingham Municipal Code (Zoning Ordinance No. 44-89).
