Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of Effingham, Illinois, will hold a public hearing on May 27, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, 1st Floor, City Hall, located at 201 East Jefferson Avenue, Effingham, Illinois, at which time and place all interested parties may participate in the Public Hearing by presenting testimony and questions on a petition requesting a Variance to allow the West side yard fence to be constructed to a height of 10 feet which is greater than 8 feet allowed per Article 6.3.A and Article 5.3.M(2) in a R-2 Single-Family Residence District in Appendix B of the City of Effingham Municipal Code (Zoning Ordinance No. 44-89).
