The City’s Municipal Electrical Aggregate will end in December, 2025. During this year’s bidding process, the City was unable to secure through the aggregate process a lower rate than Ameren. Residents on the City’s aggregate will automatically return to Ameren at a lower rate.  You still have the option to choose an electrical supplier other than Ameren, within two months, although Ameren will remain your provider.

What are some indications that solicitation may not be legitimate?

If any solicitor offers to come to your house to pick up your cash donation, this should be a ‘red flag’ that it is not a legitimate solicitation. Many scam artists avoid the Federal Mail Fraud laws by sending a courier. If the US Postal Service was used to perpetrate a fraud, it is automatically a Federal Crime that bears higher penalties.
