The City’s Municipal Electrical Aggregate will end in December, 2025. During this year’s bidding process, the City was unable to secure through the aggregate process a lower rate than Ameren. Residents on the City’s aggregate will automatically return to Ameren at a lower rate.  You still have the option to choose an electrical supplier other than Ameren, within two months, although Ameren will remain your provider.

Where do I report for jury duty?

All court proceedings are conducted at the Effingham County Courthouse, 120 W. Jefferson Avenue, Suite 101, in Effingham.
