The City’s Municipal Electrical Aggregate will end in December, 2025. During this year’s bidding process, the City was unable to secure through the aggregate process a lower rate than Ameren. Residents on the City’s aggregate will automatically return to Ameren at a lower rate.  You still have the option to choose an electrical supplier other than Ameren, within two months, although Ameren will remain your provider.

Who do I call when we are testing or working on our fire alarm?

If you have an alarm system that sends a signal to a monitoring company, please call our Dispatch Center at 217-347-0776 and tell them to put your system in test mode. Please remember to call and be prepared to give the time/date when it will be in test mode. Remember, construction dust will set off an alarm at times. So put your system in test during this time as well. We do bill for false fire alarm responses after the 3rd false activation response.
