- Assists the City Administrator with his responsibilities and tasks
- Supervises city government in the absence of the City Administrator
- Directly supervises the Human Resources Department
- Oversees the operations of the Office of the City Clerk
- Oversees the operations of the Office of the City Treasurer
- Oversees the operations of the Information Technology Department
Dennis Presley, MPA
Dennis Presley was appointed as the City’s Deputy City Administrator in February, 2022. Previously, Dennis
served as the City Administrator of East Prairie, Missouri from 2018-2022. From 2008-2018, Dennis served as a Project Director with the SIU School of Medicine. Dennis earned both a Bachelor’s Degree in Administration of Justice and a Master of Public Administration Degree from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.
