Larry Micenheimer has lived in Effingham since 1978. A graduate of Taylorville High School, he holds degrees from both Eastern Illinois University and the University of Illinois. A retired school counselor and coach, Larry has demonstrated his dedication to community service through his career and volunteer service.
First elected in 2007, Larry is still committed to the same goal: "Create a spirit of cooperation among the government entities of the city, county, school, and park district to best serve the needs of all the citizens we were elected to serve."
