The City’s Municipal Electrical Aggregate will end in December, 2025. During this year’s bidding process, the City was unable to secure through the aggregate process a lower rate than Ameren. Residents on the City’s aggregate will automatically return to Ameren at a lower rate.  You still have the option to choose an electrical supplier other than Ameren, within two months, although Ameren will remain your provider.

Demolition permits

You need a demolition permit if you are taking down a building or a portion of a building. This applies to any permanent structure, like a tool shed or accessory building.

Demolition permits follow the building permit process, but they have their own application form.
