A Homestretch Timeline of meetings and objectives has been set pertaining to the Effingham 2050 Comprehensive Plan.  These meetings are an opportunity for you to express your opinion and ideas about the final draft of the Plan. Pool permits

A pool permit is required if you are building a new swimming pool.

You do not need a pool permit for:

  • Minor pool repair or maintenance
  • Above ground, temporary pools less than 24 inches in depth

Pool permits follow the building permit process, but they have their own application form.
